The Secretary General is responsible for the daily operation of the CED staff and the implementation of the decisions taken by the General Meeting and the Board of Directors. The Secretary General is also responsible for maintaining links with EU institutions and stakeholders’ organisations in Brussels.
The Senior Policy Officer is responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on EU legislation, drafting position papers, providing information and other services to the CED membership. Aneta is responsible for the following areas: education, e-health, ethics, infection control, medical devices and patient safety.
The Policy Officer is responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on EU legislation, drafting position papers, providing information and other services to the CED membership. Caroline is responsible for the following areas: dental materials, antibiotics, internal market, and oral health.
The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the office. She is in charge of organising all CED events, performing accounting and pay-roll duties, ensuring all supplies. The Office Manager also assists the Secretary General and the Policy Officers in other tasks.
The CED-EDSA intern is involved in various aspects of CED work, including activities of Working Groups and Task Forces, communication activities and administrative tasks. The intern provides a crucial link between the CED and the European Dental Students Association (EDSA), facilitating close collaboration of the two organisations.
